Here are some images that had some impact on me .I wanted to get the colour scheme from the film Marie-Antoinette.
I decided to
choose that colour scheme as I loved the pastels that were used .
They made
the costumes look as they were from a different age yet still make them
transcend into our current style as ,pastels are very much in fashion at the moment.
From art I
wanted to use art deco as I wanted my visual product to be bold yet
sophisticated.
I wanted the
product to be eye catching and out there ,like what the art pretty much means
or at least that's what I get from art deco.
I also tyred
to make the dress decorative much like art deco ,I would have liked to add some
of the geometric style but it would have been over the top. Finally from design I wanted to get the feel of the 20’s
here and there for example the beading I wanted to add to the torso of the
dress.
Although the dress shape I wanted to be totally different
from that 20’s style and went it kind of a small ball gown design which I got
fro the film
